Airica is a Michigan writer and teacher. The idea for her children's book, The Adventures of Sip and Tip, came into focus after a handful of days at the beach. Too many plastic straws and environmentally unfriendly items were ending up atop of her children's sandcastles. She wondered how to empower her children to take action. That is when two lovable characters, Sip & Tip, were born.  Hoping to make a larger impact, Airica and her husband started Little Waves Organization. 

 

Little Waves Organization educates children about environmental concerns and provides opportunities for children to take care of our earth.

We would love to set up an event with you or connect with your group! We can share The Adventures of Sip & Tip and teach your young activists about plastic pollution. Participants will walk away knowing their actions can make a big difference.
